The matching of technology and skilled operators became the key to the Marsol Consortium business development principle. Specialist technologies were developed and packaged over time by Bob Denovan (now Denith Engineering), Mike Young (now Marsol Engineering) and others to encompass the complex areas of subsea trenching, mining and other oil field interventions such as directional drilling for beach crossings pipe and cable lay support equipment. These skills ultimately evolved into the various different commercial entities that form the Marsol Consortium today.
