MARSOL International is a company specializing in the marine and construction industries with offices and warehouses in the Jebel Ali Free Zone, Dubai, UAE. It provides marine solutions and has a trading division which focuses on industry related specialist niche market products and which it distributes throughout the Middle East region from its facility.

MARSOL International is the Middle East regional master distributor for ‘VERSADOCK’, which is a modular floating drive on dock system focusing on commercial and residential applications. It was decided to pursue this modular product as it is ideal for the leisure and private markets, with specific focus on the island developments in the Arabian Gulf.

Several years have been spent developing a safe design that provides protection for the watercraft and allow the driver to approach and dock the boat in a controlled manner. In 2004, VersaDock released their patented V-Float technology which allowed them to create a safe and controlled drive-on docking system for most small and mid-sized boats. The design is focused on safety and aesthetics and the result is very different to the solutions of their competitors. VersaDock’s Residential Docks are the best in the industry as the V-Float Technology is only provided by VersaDock as well as using screw pins instead of twist lock pins. The floats used in the dock are the same as the floats used in their commercial grade products, and are extremely durable. Their Double Float Technology allows for a simple installation and makes the floating dock extremely stable.

The Versadock system is very durable and adaptable and can be used in all types of weather conditions from high temperatures experienced in the Middle East, rain and mild hurricanes to snow and freezing water, and can be left in the water all year round.

Versadock’s Residential Dock works extremely well in sea water estuaries and residential developments and harbours prevalent in the Arabian Gulf. Where the water level fluctuates with tidal movement, it automatically rises and lowers with the water and it is easily moved for those times when the shoreline changes drastically. The Versadock system facilitates boarding in tidal climates, as it will always be in the same position related to the boat.
